Data Science Laboratory (DS Lab)
The Data Science Laboratory (DS Lab) was launched in July 2014 with the goal of creating a comprehensive research center that aims to deepen data science for business by means of a research organization comprised of experts in the four fields of Distribution and Marketing, The Environment, Accounting, and Information. It carries out interdisciplinary research in basic technology sectors and a diverse array of business sectors focused primarily on data science.
DS Lab applies various data science techniques to a variety of business sectors, and has built a research structure for achieving the data science processes of developing basic techniques and applications, developing models for consumer behavior, and verifying these by putting them into practice. It also partners with top-level research centers from around the world, primarily those in Europe and America, to achieve the formation of a networked research center through industry-academic partnerships with domestic companies.

The 'Practical science approaches for data mining business applications' project was adopted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as a Support Project for Strategic Collaboration between Private Universities (2015-2019).

<Objectives of the Support Project for Strategic Collaboration between Private Universities>
