This group photo shows the students from 2003, Masashi Ishikawa's first year at Kansai University. It marks the beginning of the laboratory; at the time, there were no graduate students, only fourth-year undergraduate students.
ONO Takeshi, at the far left of the back row, was a domestic visiting student from Yamaguchi University, where Professor Ishikawa had previously worked, and contributed greatly to establishing the laboratory.
